Apparently, Extinct Dinosaurs Attacked Two Meteorite

Recent studies show that destroyed the lives of dinosaurs 65 million years ago caused by a beating at least two meteorites. Until now, scientists consider a single meteorite collision that destroyed them.

Previously, scientists have identified a large crater in the Gulf of Mexico as destructive events for the dinosaurs. Now the evidence has been found both in the Ukraine. This raises the possibility that Earth may have again bombarded by meteorites.

These new findings published in the journal Geology by Professor David Jolley of the University of Aberdeen.

When first proposed in 1980, the idea that meteorite impacts have killed the dinosaurs are still highly controversial. Then, the discovery of Chicxulub crater in the Gulf of Mexico, the United States, is considered a shot that justifies the theory.

The second discovery of the crater showed that the dinosaurs became extinct is driven by the collision of two times a meteorite, not a single attack.

Boltysh crater in the Ukraine were first reported in 2002. However, until now not clearly related to the time of the Chicxulub Crater.

In that study, scientists examined pollen and spores from plant fossils in layers of mud that fills the crater. They found, after the collision, the fern quickly meet the landscape.

Fern has a remarkable ability to bounce back after a disaster. Management layer of fern spores is considered a good indication of the impact of past events.

However, there was an unexpected discovery there. They found a second layer of ferns in one-meter layer above the first. It shows the impact of events before the collision.

Professor Simon Kelley of the Open University, another writer in the study, said, "We interpret this as the second layer after the Chicxulub impact crater."
This suggests that the Chicxulub Crater Boltysh and does not occur at the same time. They are separate layers for thousands of years seen from these two ferns. (* / BBC/OL-5)

"Alien pelted My House with Meteor"

Two years ago, recognizing this man became a sensation in a number of international media. Radivoje Lajic - Bosnia is a man - suddenly famous in 2008 after claiming that the roof of his house in the village of Gornji Lajici, Bosnia, hit by a meteorite.

As quoted from the page of the Daily Telegraph, the events of 2008 was not the first event. Previously, was sentenced to four times the home Lajic celestial bodies that are not burning the atmosphere.

Now, in a matter of months, the space rock hit his house again, making the roof of the house has six times Lajic hit "meteor strike" since 2007.

A number of experts at Belgrade University confirmed that the rocks are submitted Lajic on the scientists they are true meteorite.

Teams of scientists are trying to analyze why the stones were targeting the house Lajic. According Lajic, space rocks that always falls during heavy rain, never happen when the sky is clear.

Lajic course had his own explanation. After the fifth stone hit her house, she said, "Obviously I became a target aliens. I do not know where that interfere with their actions, but there is no reasonable explanation."

"Chance was hit by a meteorite is very small, but I was sentenced to six meteorites," he said.

Male 50 years old and it even had to install steel roof to protect his home. Funds to install the protector was obtained from one meteorite to sell a university in the Netherlands.

"I believe I be subjected to an alien," he added. "They want to play with me. For some reason they do this. When it rains, I always worried about an attack," said Lajic.

Meteor crash in Central Cricket Match

Marszel January (51) and Richard Haynes (52) saw a meteor crashed in the field cricket.

Two spectators cricket in Sussex, England did not expect to see a rare event. Marszel January (51) and Richard Haynes (52) saw a meteor crashed in the field cricket.

As reported by Telegraph.co.uk July 27, 2010 edition, had crossed the stone meteorites and witnessed two cricket spectators who were watching the game.

Meteorite measuring about 5 inches long believed that 4.5 billion years old. We fell and menghujam soil, stones broken into two parts.

"We were sitting near the border fence. All of a sudden, we saw a small dark object heading our way. Stone was broken into two parts. One toward my chest, another one toward the barrier," said IT consultant who is also Marszel.

It landed only about two feet from where Marszel. The couple finally decided to keep two parts of the meteorite to disimpang as historical mementos.

Haynes, who is also a retired did not expect what he saw. We look to the sky, he saw a black object pass in front of him.

"At the same time we looked up. We saw a black object in our direction. But we do not know what it is," said Haynes.

He saw himself the object came from the sky. They believed the stone was not a fraudulent act that throws people.

"We see a stone meteorite from the sky, and directly menghujam ground. That's really a meteorite," he said.

Dr Matthew Genge, an expert on meteorites from Imperial College, London said, "If it proved to be a meteorite, then this is a very rare occurrence," said Genge.

According to him, this incident is very interesting. "If proven, this became the first meteorite in Ingrris since 1992. It was a secret formation of our solar system.
